The Kimono Lady

    Christina, a.k.a. The Kimono Lady, has been a fan of kimono since 1998, when she found a beautiful book of kimono photographs in her college library.

    She later spent five years living and working in Japan, and now enjoys introducing Western audiences to kimono and Japanese culture here in the States. An educator by trade, Christina provides fun and informative presentations and seminars, opening a colorful window onto the Land of the Rising Sun.

    Or library, or birthday party, or just about anywhere. The Kimono Lady is available for a basic one-hour kimono and culture seminar, free of charge, to public institutions such as accredited schools, school clubs, libraries and private educational groups like the Girl Scouts.     If you'd like to bring The Kimono Lady to a private event, club meeting or party in Houston or the surrounding area, there is a fee of $39.00 for a one-hour, custom-themed presentation tailored to your needs.
