    From teen birthday parties to quilting circles, spice up your next event with your own custom presentation by The Kimono Lady. Choose any of the five themes below or mix a few up! Prices begin at $39.00 for one hour, and $20 per each additional hour.

A) Geisha Girls

Is your book club reading Memoirs of a Geisha? Are you throwing a Japan- themed party? Learn about the mysterious and beautiful world of geisha in a fun, engaging presentation featuring real kimono and traditional accessories.

B) Fabrics of the Far East

Ikat, yuzen shibori, chirimen: Japanese fabrics and dye techniques are world-famous for their variety, beauty and quality. Learn more about them and how they can bring an exotic and lovely touch to your quilting, craft and sewing projects. 

C) Kawaii! (Cute!)

Does your daughter watch anime, read manga, listen to Japanese music, or just love Japan? Surprise her and her friends with the chance to learn about Japanese culture and get dressed up in real kimono. 

D) No One Told Me That

Are you planning a pleasure or business trip to Japan and would like a taste of the culture before you go? Get a crash course in what to do and what not to do in a business meeting, at a restaurant, in public, at a home-stay house and try on a kimono for yourself!

E) Learn Japanese

In one hour, you'll get a fun introduction to the spoken and written language as well as cultural tips handy for any Japanese beginner.
